Signed Guitar and Autographed Memorabilia

By Mark Turgeon

Getting a signed guitar is a big deal for die hard fans. What could be better than having your very own signed guitar by your favorite artist or band? The only problem is that it's actually one of the hardest collectibles to come by.

Autographed memorabilia such as albums, photos, and other collectibles are much easier to obtain than a signed guitar from your favorite band or artist.

Many signed guitars are worth far more than their original owners can actually fathom; this is mainly because they're such a rare item to get a hold of.

Find an authentic memorabilia collectibles dealer online and search the rates for an autographed guitar. Most signed guitars sell less than 10 grand, but there are some that can fetch a million dollars especially a one of a kind Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page played and signed guitar.

Most memorabilia collectors try to find an autographed guitar in excellent condition. Guitars are just instruments, but to actually get one signed by your favorite band or artist is worth way more than the guitar itself.

Sure, an autographed guitar would be awesome to have, but one that has been played and rocked on by the original artist is way cooler.

Having your autographed guitar authenticated by a professional would be a wise investment. Having an item authenticated will make your autographed guitar more marketable in the autograph industry. There are to many forgeries and fakes out there in this world and spending the money to have it authenticated will separate your signed guitar from the forged ones.

If you did not get a candid proof photograph of the artist or band for your signed guitar, then contact a memorabilia collectibles dealer so they can try to prove the legitimacy of your guitar signed. You should always do your research on memorabilia dealers to see if they are authentic. A good way to tell if they are genuine is the prices of their feedback, prices of items, and if they have nothing to hide.
